I bought an Ln550 and had it almost two years. It does not turn on now. It just clicks like a clock. A simple search on all samsung TV’s shows that they use cheap capacitors. They swell and burn out. You will have it happen right after your warranty is up. Samsung knows about the problem to they outsourced the costumer service to a place that is rude and hardly speaks English. This TV is great. Especially for the price. When I first switched over to HD, the difference is amazing. As far as this tv goes, the picture is very good. Sound is alright if you are just listening through the TV speackers. The Touch of Color is almost non-existent and seems to be a marketing ploy. The touch sensitive buttons on the actual unit are very hard to operate and they do not seem to light up making them even more difficult to find and use. The 60 hz of this tv used to not bother me too much but after watching a lot of sports, it becomes apparent that the refresh rate is a little slow.
